This red carpet display from Sarah Jessica Parker would get the seal of approval from her Sex And The City alter ego Carrie Bradshaw.

The actress – who played the Manolo Blahnik-loving fashionista for a decade – brought glamour to gala in the New York on Thursday in a nude sequinned Miu Miu creation.

Giving a twirl for the cameras, with a dazzling smile on her face, Sarah obviously knew how good she looked.

The 45-year-old had turned on the style for a soiree in aid of the New York City Ballet in her role as a member of the company's board of the directors.
